Workplace Communication Workshops

Workshops that Work for Any Workplace

Communication is the #1 tool for a successful business and workplace.

Our Workplace Communication Workshops are designed based on current best practices in communication training. As speech-language pathologists that work exclusively with adults on developing their voice and communication every day, we understand what it takes to use communication as a tool to better connect as a team, build workplace collaboration, navigate challenges, facilitate accountability, and achieve outcomes more efficiently.

No matter how strong your team is, having better command over communication will always be an investment worth making.

Since opening our doors in 2017, we have been developing an offering of unique approaches to workplace communication coaching, focusing on the diverse needs of individuals within a variety of teams that you won’t find from other practices or professionals.

Our workshops leverage evidence-based practice in a wide variety of foundational aspects of communication such as developing attention, memory, voice projection, and assertiveness — vital for situations ranging from selling products to negotiating and resolving conflicts. Our goal is to foster an environment where every team member feels empowered and equipped to communicate effectively.

Another advantage is that we work with clients in corporate environments at every level and with clients who are in other professional settings. This allows us to have a well-rounded and adaptable approach that can fit the needs and diversity of any team. We have worked with professors and teachers, executive management teams, lawyers and other legal professionals, doctors and other healthcare providers, sales and marketing teams, public relations professionals, directorial boards, artistic teams, and many more.

Below are some examples of workshop topics that we have done in the past. If you feel your team could benefit from a specific communication need you don’t see here, reach out and we can set up a call to discuss your needs in more detail. You can also find a list of some of the Workplace Communication skills we work on regularly here.

Essentials of Assertive Communication

Introduce your team to our unique Assertiveness Framework developed by our very own Jordan Scholl . Support written and verbal communication for the widest variety of needs- from negotiating to managing a team, and from conflict resolution to facilitating better interpersonal relationships.

Participants will develop a deeper understanding of the many communication styles and how to be more intentional in the skills required to achieve the outcomes they want from their communication.

We also collaborate on designing practical case examples that are relevant to your industry or workplace to keep our workshops interactive and empower participants with the ability to apply what they learn right away.

Presentation Essentials

Our workshops on presentation skills cover everything from coming up with your ideas, organizing your thoughts, designing the strongest story, and delivering your presentation with confidence.

From cognitive strategies to voice projection, participants will learn how to command the tools that are essential in putting their best Self forward when they are in front of any size group.

This workshop is great for companies and organizations that are wanting to learn to master their communication for presentations in an interactive way, while also building on the various strengths that already exist within the team.

Networking and Small Talk

Developing skills in small talk and networking can be a great way to give people the tools they need to feel like they can connect more effectively with their team and for their career, regardless of their backgrounds.

When people feel comfortable engaging with one another in their workplace, they are more likely to collaborate, share ideas, and support each other. This boosts morale and increases job satisfaction, which contributes to a more positive quality of life and sense of inclusivity in the workplace.

In this workshop, we will discuss how to use small talk as a foundation for building rapport, paving the way for deeper conversations and meaningful exchanges. We will also learn how to feel more confident in networking situations so that people can build genuine connections beyond professional obligations.
