Eytan Barak

Eytan (he/him) is a speech-language pathologist living in Toronto Ontario. Eytan graduated from the University of Toronto and has spent his career working with adults in acute care, rehabilitation hospitals, and in the community. His focus with his clients is always to tackle functional goals, to increase independence, and to develop both personal and professional level communication skills. By collaborating with his clients he is able to create more meaningful, long-lasting change.
Through his work, Eytan has developed skills in training a wide variety of speech and communication goals. He has a particular passion for working with individuals with cognitive communication challenges as well as helping adults develop their professional communication skills.
Prior to his training as a speech-language pathologist, Eytan received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from York University, with a focus on the neurological basis of behaviour and language.
Eytan is fluent in English and Hebrew, and has good conversational skills in both Russian and Spanish.
When he is not working as a speech-language pathologist, Eytan enjoys listening to podcasts about politics, history, and science. He also spends some of his time exploring new recipes, and watching documentaries and reality TV with his partner and his cat. If you live downtown you may also see him running around the Lakeshore or rowing at an indoor gym.
