Shouting vs. Projecting

Shouting vs. Projecting

Understanding and Unlocking the Power Behind Your Voice

In the video above, I discuss voice projection for two different kinds of “loud” productions: Shouting and Projecting.

Knowing the difference can help you protect your voice but also ensure that you are making the greatest impact when you get up in front of an audience.

Healthy projection means that your voice is amplified naturally and comfortably, and is perceived by the listeners in the same way. This is in direct contrast with shouting, where you often feel uncomfortable and the voice fatigues easily, and your listeners also feel uncomfortable.

If you are a fitness professional, singer, actor, teacher, or other professional who uses their voice to present or project, this video is for you.
